About the event
As part of the global On the Moon Again initiative, Astro Mauritius will join forces with Moka City to bring a shared lunar observation experience to the island. This international movement aims to make the Moon accessible to everyone, encouraging people to gather and observe it together through telescopes or the naked eye. Across Mauritius, everyone will be invited to participate, making it possible for communities from different regions of the island to come together under the same sky and take part in this collective moment of observation. Through open stargazing sessions and guided explanations, participants will be able to explore the Moon’s details, learn basic astronomy, and experience a simple but powerful connection with the night sky.
