Terms & Conditions

- Booking & Payment: Sessions must be booked in advance and confirmed with Astro Mauritius. Payment terms will be agreed upon at booking, with full payment due on or before the session unless otherwise agreed. - Cancellation: Cancellations made within 7 days of the session are non-refundable. Earlier cancellations may be rescheduled subject to availability. - Weather: Outdoor astronomy activities are weather-dependent. If conditions are unsuitable, Astro Mauritius may reschedule the session or adapt the programme with indoor educational activities where possible. - Programme: Activities are adapted according to the participants’ age, educational level and group size and may include presentations, demonstrations, discussions and telescope observation. - Venue: The client is responsible for providing a safe and suitable venue with adequate space and, where required, access to electricity. For stargazing, a reasonably dark area with a clear view of the sky is recommended. - Participant Safety: Schools and institutions remain responsible for participant supervision and discipline throughout the session. Participants must follow Astro Mauritius’ instructions when using or approaching astronomy equipment. - Equipment: Astro Mauritius provides the equipment required for the agreed programme. Equipment must be handled responsibly by participants. - Coordination: All booking and logistical coordination will be handled through email or WhatsApp. - Programme Changes: Astro Mauritius reserves the right to adjust activities due to weather, venue limitations, participant numbers or other circumstances beyond its control.
