Step away from the noise and discover the night sky as it was meant to be seen. This stargazing experience offers a clear and immersive view of the universe, from the Moon’s rugged surface to distant planets and the glowing band of the Milky Way. Guided yet relaxed, each session blends observation with insight, leaving you not only amazed but also curious to explore more. Package includes: - Beginner-friendly introduction to astronomy and stargazing - Guided tour of the night sky and major constellations - Observation of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects (season-dependent) - 2 professional GoTo telescope with full equipment - Personalized guidance throughout the session - Photography under the stars and of the Milky Way (weather and seasonal conditions permitting) - A custom sky map in PDF format, provided after the session as a keepsake Note: Free for children under 10 years old (maximum 3 children).
Terms & Conditions
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable. Payment: For international clients, full payment is due on the day of the event. - Booking & Coordination: Once a booking is confirmed, all further coordination will be handled via email or WhatsApp. This includes finalizing the venue, confirming logistical details, and monitoring weather conditions leading up to the session. - Weather Conditions: All stargazing sessions, excluding exhibitions, are weather-dependent and subject to conditions beyond our control. If weather conditions at the agreed location are unsuitable for astronomical observation, the client will be offered either the option to reschedule the session or receive a full refund. - Standard Venue: Private stargazing sessions are generally conducted in the southwest of Mauritius, near La Prairie Beach, which offers some of the darkest skies on the island. - Client-Provided Venues: Sessions can also be arranged at a venue provided by the client, provided that the location offers sufficiently low light pollution and a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. - Venue Arrangements: When the client provides the venue, including hotel premises or surrounding areas, all necessary permissions, access arrangements, and coordination with the venue must be handled by the client. To facilitate the process, clients may request our assistance in identifying or contacting local facilities where appropriate. - Responsibility for Client-Provided Venues: Astro Mauritius cannot be held responsible for factors at a client-provided venue that may negatively affect the stargazing experience, including excessive light pollution, noise pollution, obstructions, restricted access, or other environmental or logistical conditions beyond our control.
